מי אנחנו
ראשון ביחד היא קהילה של משפחות צעירות ישראליות בברוקלין עם ילדים בגילאי 0-10. צמחנו מתוך רצון ליצור קהילה דוברת עברית כדי להרגיש יותר בבית בברוקלין, ולגדל את ילדינו עם חברים דוברי עברית ולהעניק להם תרבות ישראלית. מאז תחילת המפגשים הדו-שבועיים שלנו בימי ראשון בבוקר באוגוסט 2023, קהילת ראשון ביחד גדלה וכוללת יותר מ-80 משפחות, ומשפחות חדשות ממשיכות להצטרף.
באוקטובר 2024, ראשון ביחד הפכה לעמותה רשמית.
Who We Are
Rishon BeYahad is a community of young Israeli families with children around 0-10 years old living in Brooklyn. The community originated from a desire to create a Hebrew-speaking community to feel more at home in Brooklyn and raise our children with Hebrew-speaking peers and opportunities to be embraced in Israeli culture. Since beginning our biweekly Sunday morning get-togethers in August 2023, the Rishon BeYahad community has grown to include more than 80 families, with new families continuing to join. In October 2024, Rishon BeYachad became a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.

מפגש י יום ראשון בבוקר
Sunday Morning Meet-Ups
כל בוקר שני של יום ראשון בשעה 10:00, קהילת ראשון ביחד מתכנסת בפארק (אפריל-ספטמבר) או בבית ספר או בית כנסת מקומי (אוקטובר-מרץ) כדי להתחבר וליהנות! המפגשים שלנו כוללים מוזיקה עברית, שעת סיפור ו/או יצירה לילדים, עם כיבוד קל כמו בייגל וקפה
Every other Sunday morning at 10am, the Rishon BeYahad community gets together in the park (April-September) or at a local school or synagogue (October-March) to connect and have fun! Our meet-ups include Hebrew music, story time, and/or arts-and-crafts for children, with light refreshments such as bagels and coffee.

קהילת ראשון ביחד מארגנת ומשתפת פעולה בארגון אירועים ופעילויות רבים לרגל חגים יהודים וישראליים, כולל לימוד ותפילה בהשראת תרבות ישראלית בראש השנה וביום כיפור, על האש ביום העצמאות, ופעילויות בנושא טבע בט"ו בשבט
Rishon BeYahad hosts and co-hosts numerous events and activities to celebrate holidays and commemorate important occasions including Israeli cultural services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, barbecue on Yom Ha’atzmaut, and nature-themed activities on Tu B’Shvat.

Special Programming
קהילת ראשון ביחד מארגנת ומקיימת שותפות בסדנאות ואירועים מיוחדים למבוגרים ולמשפחות. דוגמאות לכך כוללות סדנת קולאז' לכל המשפחה עם האמן הישראלי חנוך פיבן, ולאחריה קבלת שבת, ארוחת ערב ושירה עברית, וגם הרצאה של רותם אורג, מייסדת ומנהל עמותת ליבראל
Rishon BeYahad organizes and co-sponsors special workshops and events for both adults and families. Examples include a family-friendly collage workshop with the famous Israeli artist Hanoch Piven followed by Kabbalat Shabbat, dinner, and a Hebrew sing-along, as well as a lecture by Rotem Oreg, Founder and Director of the non-profit organization LIBRAEL - Liberal Israel.

Rishon BeYahad is actively engaged in the Brooklyn Jewish community and has many partnerships including the UJA, JCC Brooklyn, the Senesh School, the Luria School, Kane Street Synagogue, PJ Library, the IAC, JAFI, and more.
